I will find
a solution.

Strategist and out-of-court negotiator

A court dispute takes years, in larger cases easily costs over a million crowns in fees and legal services, and nobody knows its outcome in advance. I negotiate an agreement out of court, discreetly and on your side.

More than a year and a half of independent practice as a commercial negotiator, in that time more than 45 disputes and negotiations closed by agreement.
After the introductory consultation you will know whether an agreement is realistic and what the next step is.

IWhat I resolve

What I can resolve for you

Any commercial dispute that has reached a stalemate.

A commercial dispute that is already before the court.

In both cases I offer a faster, more effective and more discreet route to an agreement, at a lower total cost than a court would bring.

I work for owners and management of companies in disputes worth millions of crowns.

In particular these situations:

A dispute between co-owners

The breakdown of a long-standing business relationship

A disputed receivable

A dispute blocking a transaction

A dispute that is already before the court

Negotiating on behalf of company management

When payments are delayed and suppliers and creditors start to press, I take over crisis communication on behalf of the company management. On the basis of a written authorisation I negotiate with suppliers and creditors in the name of management, arrange deferrals and instalment schedules, and make sure the company does not lose the trust of its partners or its good name. Meanwhile the managing director can focus on what will bring the company back into shape. We clarify the scope, tone and limits of the negotiation at an in-person or online meeting.

IIWhat you gain

What you gain

  • I sit at the table, not you. You do not have to face a former co-owner or partner across the table.
  • You decide: you approve the scenario and the limits of the negotiation, and I take the pressure in the room.
  • The dispute stays between the parties. Court hearings are public, an agreement is not.
  • Nobody has to lose in public. The agreement can be presented as a sensible business decision.
  • Your energy and management time go back into the company, not into the dispute.
IIIHow I work

How I work

I resolve every dispute in two consecutive steps.

01

Strategic analysis

Review of the documents, mapping the positions of both sides, where they can meet and what each will do if no agreement is reached. The outputs are the risks and a precise negotiation plan. All under confidentiality.

02

Negotiation mandate

I personally lead the negotiation at the table according to the approved plan, calm the conflict and guide the parties to the signing of a binding agreement.

The introductory consultation takes place in person or online.
You receive the scope and the price in writing in advance.
The text of the final agreement between the parties is prepared by your lawyer.

IVAbout me

A negotiator, not a lawyer

A lawyer protects your legal interests. I bring to the negotiation an outside view, business pragmatism and experience from running companies, and I guide the parties at the table to an agreement that works in practice.

  • More than a year and a half of independent practice as a commercial negotiator, in that time more than 45 commercial disputes, exits of business partners and negotiations on reducing, deferring or rescheduling payments closed by agreement. About half of them directly with lawyers at the negotiating table.
  • I took over the family company founded by my father, successfully brought it up during an economic crisis, prepared it for sale and then, within 3 months, sold it and handed it over to the new owner. It still operates under him today. I know first-hand what an intergenerational handover looks like, not only on paper. Likewise I know what preparing a company for sale looks like.
  • Eighteen years in commercial and operational management, including as co-owner and managing director.
  • A cultural and linguistic bridge. In negotiation it is not only language that matters, but also the mentality and business culture of the parties. I negotiate in Czech, English and Russian. Each side comes with its own habits and its own view of business, and I understand both. This helps foreign and Czech partners find common ground where misunderstanding arises not from the numbers but from differing customs.

I am not a lawyer or a registered mediator and I do not provide legal services. I negotiate the commercial terms of an agreement. Legal assessment, the text of the agreement and representation in court are provided by a lawyer, either one you already have or one I recommend.

VFor professionals

For lawyers, tax advisers and insolvency administrators

You have a case where the client would gain more from an agreement than from a judgment, but nobody wants to negotiate it with them. I take over the negotiation and you can focus on the legal side of the matter.

The client remains yours. You do the legal assessment and the contractual documentation. And whatever cannot be settled, I send back to you together with a map of where the negotiation got stuck.

I am not competition to legal services. I negotiate, the law stays with you.

A confidential, non-binding introductory consultation

I set the price in writing after the introductory consultation, once the value of the dispute, the number of its participants and the volume of contractual documentation to be studied are known. I confirm confidentiality in writing before you entrust me with any details.
